UK Government advice on home moving during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

Wow, what a first day back that was!

Despite the uncertainty of the past two months, the UK property market opened its doors again today, with the governments announcement that estate agents were once again able to conduct viewings and valuations on properties.

Rumours of a build up of demand within the UK property market were seemingly proven correct, with over 2,100 new properties being added to the Rightmove portal within the first six hours of agencies returning to business.

Here at Portfolio8, we've seen a huge number of new enquiries from both sellers, buyers and landlords today, with the key focus being on how we will be conducting viewings and valuations.

Whilst everyone wants to move forward with their house moves, safety is very much at the forefront of everyones minds at the moment, and as with all good estate agents, Portfolio8 will be operating in accordance with the new UK Government advice on home moving during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak moving forwards.

We're currently updating our supporting literature to ensure this is as up to date as possible, however in the meantime we'd recommend that all our clients have a read of the UK Government advice on home moving during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Whether your viewing a property with us here at Portfolio8, or any other agent, we'd strongly recommend you sit down with a cup of tea and have a read through.

Once again to all our clients and customers, please stay safe, and we're really looking forward to working with you again on the sales and purchases of your properties.
