Estate Agents trade publication 'The Negotiator' has published some interesting news this morning regarding the UK property market, which shows the pent up demand for vendors looking to sell their property.
The research backs up the wider market concensus that the UK property market will rebound strongly when market conditions return to normal.
The research, which was carried out by Marketing Consultancy Electric Design, has shown a huge increase in the number of Google users searching for keywords widely associated with selling their property.
The report has shown that Google searches for phrases such as 'Sell My Home' and 'Sell My Property' are at their highest this year, despite the restrictions placed on the market due to the Coronavirus.
The report from Electric Design showed that the same was true (albeit to a lesser extent) for searches such as 'value my home' and 'online house valuation.'
Here at Indlu Estate Agents, we have continued to see interest in people wanting to sell their property in Manchester, and our team are continuing to speak with vendors with a view to going on the market as soon as government and health authority advises it is safe to do so.
What is clear from the research, and what we are experiencing at Indlu Estate Agents, is that people are still keen to sell their house and move home, and this demand is likely to build up as the lockdown continues.
However, vendors are using the time now available to them to research local estate agents and their offerings in more detail, ensuring a more informed choice is made at the time.
Mark Burns, Director at Indlu Estate Agents said this morning: 'We're seeing increasing numbers of vendors using our online property valuation tool, which is understandable given that we're now approaching the most popular time of year for people to move house.'
If you're currently looking to move house, and are wondering 'how much is my house worth?'
