Located about 10 miles to the NorthEast of Manchester city centre, Rochdale is right at the end of the Metrolink and has its own railway station. Journey time is about 15-20 minutes. Rochdale also has an extensive bus service and easy access to the M62/M60.
Although Rochdale has a lot of commuters, it also has its own, defined, local economy. The reduction in manufacturing has been counterbalanced by the growth of the logistics sector. There is also the Kingsway Business Park. This covers 0.66-square-miles and is home to major names such as JD Sports. It has its own, dedicated stop on the Metrolink.
