Only four miles East of Manchester city centre, Droylsden has been steadily growing in popularity since 2013 when it got its own Metrolink station. It’s just eight stops from Droylsden to Piccadilly. There’s also a tram service West to Ashton-under-Lyne and numerous buses in both directions.
In addition to its excellent commuter facilities, Droylsden has good schools, plenty of local shops and facilities and a decent selection of leisure options many of which are family-friendly.

Droylsden Marina has become a focal point of leisure in Droylsden. It’s home to a cluster of high-quality restaurants. Droylsden also benefits from several excellent pubs including the much loved “Pig on the Wall”, housed in what may be the oldest building in Droylsden. There are numerous sporting facilities and easy access to the canal network and the local countryside.
